FIONA (Noah x Pearl) “We have one of Noah’s and Pearl’s puppies that were born in November 2014. We called her Fiona. Just wanted to let you know that she has been invited to compete in the AKC Obedience Classic in Florida in December in Novice. We are thrilled! She has her Novice Obedience title, her Rally Novice title and her Canine Good Citizen certificate, and continuing to work on the next level of obedience and rally. We couldn’t be happier with her--I am totally smitten with her and she looks just like her mom, Pearl. I have attached a picture of her when we were up in PA at the Rottie Speciality! She got a third in obedience. I'll keep you posted on the Classic! Thank you and happy walking!” --Jillian Swayze |
A word to the wise...
When shopping for a quality Rottweiler, keep the AKC Rottweiler Standard in mind: https://images.akc.org/pdf/breeds/standards/Rottweiler.pdf
Rottweilers are a strong and dominant breed, suitable only for knowledgeable, serious, and dedicated owners. Even with excellent socialization they are NOT suitable as a casual family pet, life in a condominium or other close community populated with other pets and small children, visits to the local bistro, or freedom in suburban dog parks. Please read and take to heart precautions discussed in this American Rottweiler Club FAQ when deciding whether a Rottweiler is the right companion for you or your family: https://www.amrottclub.org/about-the-rottweiler/owning-a-rottweiler/.
